‘Forest’ signifies freestanding tubular bells consisting of 7 metal tuned tubes of different lengths. The longer the tube the lower the sound it produces. Includes a dedicated post for the 2 mallets.
The instrument itself is characterised by high frequencies and a subtle range of aliquot tones (higher harmonics). To enjoy the mesmerising tone of tubular bells, you must strike them in the middle with mallets to produce a sound. Even the simplest, intuitively struck rhythm will produce an interesting tune. Two people at most can play the tubular bells ‘forest’. It is a good idea to add other instruments such as the bells ‘monk’ or xylophone ‘wind piano’ to create music together with others. Measures 75cmW x 190cmH. Note: The mallets are attached to the instrument with armed (steel) rope.
The instrument can be fixed to the ground with two anchoring systems:
Flat Anchor (this model) – the best solution to install instruments on hard surfaces (e.g. concrete).
In Ground Anchor See #10901 Tubular Bells FOREST Installation (In Ground Anchor) – ensures a professional and stable installation of the instruments on soft surfaces (e.g. lawn, sand).
Note: Full instructions and specifications are included for your preferred installer.
