Handpan KOALA Installation With Mallet (Flat Anchor)

The Handpan KOALA is an instrument with a characteristic metallic, but at the same time, soft sound. It was created based on the Tongue Drum, an instrument that in it's original version was made from an empty gas cylinder and also in timber.

When striking the specially profiled, metallic soundbox with the finger, hand or mallets, you can create beautiful, melodic tunes with any rhythm. This instrument is ideally suited for spontaneous music making in the playground or in the park. Every single child will enjoy playing the handpan, regardless of their musical abilities. Two people at a time can play the instrument. Its sound works excellently with other outdoor instruments, for example the Marimba CALYPSO or the Tubular Bell Installations.

Includes the Handpan with 1 Mallet Stand and 1 Mallet. Measures 70.5cmH x 46cmW x 46cmL. Note: The mallet is attached to the post with armed (steel) rope.

The instrument can be installed with two anchoring systems:

Flat Anchor (this model) – the best solution to install instruments on hard surfaces (e.g. concrete).

In Ground Anchor – See #10951. Ensures a professional and stable installation on soft surfaces (e.g. lawn, sand).
