Build a Sentence Parts 1, 2 & 3

Build a Sentence Part One is designed to help children identify subjects and predicates in order to build simple sentences. It introduces the concept that the subject of the sentence is the “doer” and the predicate is the action being done. This activity set can be played solo or in small groups and also helps to hone reading skills as children build sentences from the 30 subject cards and 30 predicate cards. This literacy set also includes step-by-step instructions. Ages 7+.

Build a Sentence Part Two extends Build A Sentence Part One with two hundred and forty colour coded cards to help build sentences and use correct pronunciation. A parts of speech match up game. Children associate sentences that are as serious or funny as they like. Contains 8 sets of 30 word play cards (240 word cards in total) and 2 colour coded playing boards. Helps in the building of sentences, the identifying parts of speech including nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs and helps develop language skills. Ages 7+.

Build a Sentence Part Three: For more advanced sentence building skills, children put together these colour coded noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, article, conjunction, interjection and punctuation mark cards to build complete meaningful sentences. Contains 360 double sided word cards and two playing boards. Ages 8yrs+.
