This beautiful set of story stones are designed by a local Nyungar artist and depict Aboriginal symbols relating to Hunting and Gathering.

These 12 Hunting and Gathering story stones are hand carved and engraved with indigenous symbols, and the set comes with an additional hand painted stone. The story stones are a multi-use resource and will promote a greater understanding of Aboriginal culture and heritage. They could be used to enhance literacy through storytelling and could be used as a visual prop when reading books about Aboriginal culture and heritage. They would be great to support and promote conversations about animals tracks and hunting.

To assist you to understand each symbol a fact sheet is included explaining the symbols represented in the set. The stones and fact sheet come with their own hand woven dilly bag for storage.
